Level 1 breaches carry the following penalties:

  • Official Reprimand: Kapp received an official reprimand.
  • Monetary Fine: The maximum penalty is 50% of a player’s match fee.
  • Demerit Points: Kapp received one demerit point, her first offense within a 24-month period.

Demerit Points and Suspensions

Demerit points remain on a player’s disciplinary record for 24 months. When a player accumulates four or more demerit points within this period, they are converted into suspension points.
